Korea East-West Power (EWP) is taking the lead in developing overseas markets through co-growth initiatives with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The company is recognized for actively supporting partner SMEs’ overseas expansion and contributing to social value creation as a public institution.
On November 19, EWP hosted the “2025 Indonesia–Korea Trade Mission” in Jakarta, Indonesia. The event brought together Korean companies, including partner SME Yuiltech Co., Ltd., to conduct technical exchanges and export consultations with local power plants.
In particular, the delegation visited the Jawa 9·10 and Tanjung Jati power plants currently in operation in Indonesia to explore practical, field-oriented cooperation opportunities. Through technical meetings with local power plant officials, the delegation gained insights into operational conditions and introduced high-quality products developed by Korean SMEs.
During this trade mission, Yuiltech conducted in-depth consultations on power plant equipment components and systems. The company identified local needs for facility upgrades and proposed tailored solutions, assessing the potential for future exports.
An EWP representative stated,
“This trade mission to Indonesia is a strong example of how we support the practical overseas expansion of partner SMEs, leveraging our operational experience in local power plants. We will continue to pursue a co-growth model that enables SMEs to advance alongside us.”
EWP plans to continue expanding overseas market-development missions linked to international power plant projects and actively promote the technological capabilities of its partner SMEs in global markets.
